Welcome

The Institute for Volunteering Research and Student Hubs are initiating research on Students, volunteering and social action: Histories and policies to inform current and future policy and practice.

  • A literature review
  • A working group of interested parties
  • A one-day symposium
  • A website that is a focal point for future contemporary and historical research into student volunteering
  • Student research projects

An invitation

We're currently looking to hear from people interested in this work: historians, social researchers, policymakers, practitioners and students.

If you have research that is relevant please let us know or you may be interested in joining the working group we are forming. Alternatively, just get in touch and we'll keep you informed of latest developments.
