The Institute for Volunteering Research and Student Hubs are carrying out new research on Students, volunteering and social action: Histories and policies to inform current and future policy and practice.
This initiative aims to fill gaps in the history of student volunteering and social action in the UK and to locate its evolution in the broader context of nineteenth and twentieth century social, economic and political history. Outcomes have included:
